Berwick Bank Thank Local Stakeholders

The Berwick Bank Project team recently held their latest round of public consultation events in East Lothian, both virtually and in person on the 8th and 9th of December.

The in-person event, held locally at the Innerwick Village Hall, was attended by approximately 70 persons and the Project team would like to thank everyone that attended on the day. Stakeholder Engagement Manager, Gary Donlin, said β€œIt was really refreshing to be able discuss our plans in person with so many interested local residents, this is a crucial part of the development phase of the project and being able to hear local views and opinions is extremely helpful for us at this point. We would like to extend a warm thanks to everyone that came along on the day and has submitted feedback after the event.”

The main purpose of the latest round of exhibitions was to confirm SSE Renewables intention to submit a planning application that confirms the land near Skateraw Harbour as the preferred landfall option for Berwick Bank Wind Farm, furthermore the Project team were able to provide details on the proposed on-shore cable route and substation at this event.

The virtual exhibition will remain on-line until the 30th of December 2021, however you can download the project information boards from this round of public exhibitions at the library downloads page, found here
